* Godly PlayGodly Play

Time: 10:00 am

During the summer we will be studying the Lord's Prayer a little bit at a time to help all of us understand in a deeper way what we are praying each week. There will be lots of fun activities to go with these lessons, which will be taught in a slightly different style from our school-year Godly Play. We hope to see you there!

* Prayer at Grace ChurchPrayer at Grace Church

Time: 12:20 pm

Grace Church has launched a prayer group practicing intercessory prayer on Wednesdays, following the noon Eucharist. Intercessory prayer is when we pray to God for the well-being of others (much like we do in the Prayers of the People on Sunday morning). The Intercessory Prayer group will be praying for those on the parish’s prayer list, and you can always add someone needing prayers to that list by calling or emailing the parish office. Those attending the Intercessory Prayer Group on Wednesdays will also have the opportunity to offer any personal prayer petitions for those on their hearts and minds. Since this coincides with the lunch hour for many, feel free to bring a brown-bag lunch to eat with your fellow “pray-ers”. The Wednesday Eucharist lasts 25 minutes, and we expect the intercessory prayer time to be around 15 minutes, leaving a good 20 minutes for lunch before the hour is up. Anyone is welcome to take part in the Intercessory Prayer group on any Wednesday.

* Stewardship is a giftStewardship is a gift

Time: 11:00 am

Stewardship is a gift of the Spirit. It is sharing God's mission with glad, generous and grateful hearts. How do we respond to God's call to be responsible stewards of Grace Church? The Stewardship Committee invites you to join a continuing conversation about the blessings of stewardship in Gammell Hall on Sunday, August 10.
