If you’re between the age of 20 and 39, then this group’s for you! The Grace Church 20s/30s Group strives to help the young adults of this vibrant downtown parish get to know each other and become a vital part of this diverse church. We meet roughly once a month, and our events range from discussions of a theological or spiritual nature to service projects to the gatherings that are just for the fun of it! Sometimes we meet if people’s homes and sometimes in local pubs. Our members are married and single, gay and straight, and some are parents – though they leave their kids at home for the events themselves! SUNDAY SCHOOL AT GRACE CHURCH

We welcome all children between the ages of 3 and 12 in our Sunday School, which meets in Gammell Hall every Sunday at 9:45. The children re-join their parents in church for the celebration of the Eucharist. There is no Sunday School on the second Sunday of each month, as the children are in church with their families, and the rector preaches a children’s homily that day. PRAYER AT GRACE CHURCH

Prayer at Grace Church Grace Church has launched a new prayer group practicing intercessory prayer on Wednesdays, following the noon Eucharist. Intercessory prayer is when we pray to God for the well-being of others (much like we do in the Prayers of the People on Sunday morning). The Intercessory Prayer group will be praying for those on the parish’s prayer list, and you can always add someone needing prayers to that list by calling or emailing the parish office. Those attending the Intercessory Prayer Group on Wednesdays will also have the opportunity to offer any personal prayer petitions for those on their hearts and minds. Since this coincides with the lunch hour for many, feel free to bring a brown-bag lunch to eat with your fellow “pray-ers”. The Wednesday Eucharist lasts 25 minutes, and we expect the intercessory prayer time to be around 15 minutes, leaving a good 20 minutes for lunch before the hour is up. Anyone is welcome to take part in the Intercessory Prayer group on any Wednesday. This new prayer initiative is in addition to the Women’s Centering Prayer Group, which meets on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month at 10 a.m. Centering Prayer is a method of silent prayer in which we experience God’s presence within us. Teens in Action

The Grace Church Teens in Action (a group for youth in grades 7 – college) is meeting today from 11:15 am – 1 pm in the Teen Room (on the third floor, above the choir vesting room) for fellowship, pizza, and planning. Youth can be picked up in the parking lot at 1pm, or youth leaders can provide rides if needed. We have an awesome event coming up, so please join us. All are welcome! Questions about the group? Do You Know Someone Who Likes to Sing?
We are looking for new members for our Choir, Grace Church Singers, and Compline Choir.

CHERUB CHOIR

This group is intended for young people ages 3-7 and we hope to provide an introduction to singing, while offering an opportunity for parents to either stay with their children or attend coffee hour as they choose. We will gather near the organ console at 11:10 am and sing for 15 minutes. Several young members of our choir will assist these youngest singers as they begin this musical journey. This group will meet every week that church school meets.

Women’s Prayer & Bible Study

Women’s Prayer & Bible Study. On the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month, the women’s group meets in the Chafee Room from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. to pray and study the Bible. Newcomers are welcome.
