The Pavilion at Grace
The Pavilion at Grace in downtown Providence, Rhode Island offers a dazzling and light-filled event space with indoor capacity for 135-150 seated guests. In addition to serving the Grace Church community as a setting for fellowship, outreach and celebration, The Pavilion at Grace – paired with Grace Church – is ideal for wedding ceremonies and receptions, non-profit fundraisers, art exhibits, performances, meetings and more.
The Courtyard of The Pavilion at Grace offers a number of options for your event photographer to capture the special moments of your gathering. All rentals of The Pavilion at Grace include access to this unique outdoor space in downtown Providence.
All events in The Pavilion at Grace include the use of our inventory of tables (including 5′ rounds and 8′ rectangular) and Chiavari chairs. (Ivory cushions are optional.) Work with your caterer to create a floorplan and event design that works for you.
Grace Church and The Pavilion at Grace offer a blend of historic charm and modern sensibilities. Located in the center of downtown activity on Westminster Street, we are just steps away from a number of hotels, restaurants, and shops.
The Pavilion at Grace is an airy and modern venue suitable for almost any event: a wedding ceremony or reception, an association conference, a book reading and author event, a recital or musical performance, or a special family celebration like an anniversary, birthday party, or baby shower.
Since 1846, Grace Church has welcomed couples into our Gothic-style sanctuary to celebrate the start of their marriage. We offer couples a number of options regarding the officiant and musician packages (you can use ours or bring your own), and – as is common in Episcopal Churches – we recognize weddings for all who wish to celebrate their day at Grace.
The Courtyard of The Pavilion at Grace adds extra outdoor entertaining space and is perfect for that in-between time: when you’re transitioning from a wedding ceremony to the reception, from a business meeting to a banquet, or from a choral concert to a cocktail party.
For those couples who prefer a modern, open space or an outdoor option for their wedding ceremony, the Courtyard and The Pavilion at Grace provide the flexibility and convenience of a ceremony and reception in one lovely venue – making it easier for your guests to relax and enjoy the day.
All rentals include furniture and event staff, and some add-ons (A/V system and wedding extras) are available.
