Weddings at Grace

We are delighted that you are considering being married at Grace Church! We have performed weddings in our historic Episcopal church for over 180 years, and our hope is that you will choose Grace as the location for one of the most joyous and sacred days of your life. Although being a member of our parish is not required to be married at Grace, our sincere hope is that each couple will consider visiting Grace on a Sunday to experience worship in this unique church in the heart of downtown Providence. Please take a moment to watch the video below to glimpse the look and feel of a Grace Church wedding.

All Are Welcome: Did you know that all types of wedding ceremonies are welcome here? Couples may of course choose an Episcopal wedding service performed by a member of the Grace Church clergy, or they may opt for a service of any denomination and arrange for their own priest or officiant. Grace Church is happy to officiate the weddings of same-sex couples as well.

This informational brochure contains all of the information you are likely to need as you plan for your Grace Church wedding, and we look forward to hearing from you soon to confirm the availability of your wedding date. Please note that couples choosing to have both their wedding ceremony in the church and their reception in the attached Pavilion at Grace enjoy a $1,000 discount off our very reasonable rates.
