Weekday Services
During the regular work week, we offer a brief Spoken Holy Eucharist with a short sermon on Wednesdays at 12 Noon in The Chapel of the Messiah, to the left of the chancel area at the front of the church. This service lasts usually between 20 to 30 minutes, allowing those who attend to fit it within their lunch hour.
O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
~ Psalm 96:6
The church is also open for prayer from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Come and meditate on our beautiful windows, pray in front of an icon of Jesus, or light a candle at our Votive Candle Station in the rear of the church.
Weekday Worship During Lent
During the penitential season of Lent, which begins on Ash Wednesday and continues until Palm Sunday, Grace Church offers addition worship opportunities during the week:
- Lenten Eucharists: Thursdays at 6:00 PM
A short Eucharist service with music, prayers, and a brief sermon. The service takes place in the Chancel near the High Altar amongst candlelight and incense for a more intimate worship experience. A light soup supper in The Pavilion follows the service.
- The Way (Stations) of the Cross: Fridays at 12:00 Noon
A short liturgy in which participants walk to 14 stations posted throughout the church commemorating Christ’s journey to Mount Calvary and his death on the Cross.
