Supporting Grace Church in Providence

What is Stewardship?

Stewardship is everything I do after I say, “I believe.”

Stewardship is a gift of the spirit:

  • It is the sharing in God’s mission with glad, generous, and grateful hearts.
  • It is transforming lives in our community.
  • It is prayerfully responding to God’s call.
  • It blesses the giver more than the receiver.

It is through a practice of gratitude and generosity that we will grow spiritually. Generosity flows out of our gratitude for the gifts of love, family, and life itself. We are called to share in God’s mission of caring for the world, using all the gifts that have been given to us.

Give with Confidence

Your gifts to Grace Church support our mission and ministry of prayer and service.

We deeply value your generosity and pledge responsible stewardship of each donation. For those wishing the convenience of giving electronically, our secure online donation portal is located here.

Annual Pledging

Inspired by the spirit and in thankfulness for our blessings, our annual stewardship commitment brings us together to pray, to serve, and to give to the Lord.

By making an annual pledge to Grace Church, you are joyfully committing to financial support of our mission and ministry.

“To build by the grace of God, a loving and joyful community which lives the Gospel through worship, proclamation, and service to each other and to downtown Providence and beyond.”

And, you are showing your gratitude to God for all the gifts he has bestowed on you and your family.

Bequests, Planned Giving & The 1829 Society

Founded in 1829, Grace Church is the vibrant spiritual community it is today because of the foresight and generosity of generations of those who have worshiped here before us.

Many of their gifts are invested in an endowment, from which investments can provide supplemental income as needed by Grace Church.

You can follow the lead of those who have generously made provisions for the future generations of Grace Church by:

  • Designating Grace Church in your will or trust
  • Making a gift of stock or real estate
  • Making a life-income or other planned gift now, which may lower your current tax liability while providing you with retirement or investment income.
